Carbon Footprints

March 25, 2009

At St. Phillip the Apostle School, students are learning about the impact their actions have on our planet by learning about their Carbon Footprints. As a fun reminder to recycle and reuse, each student that brings in an item to recycle with CFK, like a cell phone or a laptop, is given a “footprint” on which they can write their name and put up on the wall. The footprints paper the school hallways and remind everyone how important it is to recycle!

here are some of the students posing with their footprints:

The bags are part of a reusable bag program that encourages students and families to use reusable grocery bags instead of plastic ones. Way to Go Green St. Phillip’s!
