Time to get your ‘Third R’ on. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle for Earth Day. However, don’t stop when Earth Day has come and gone. Keep on keepin’ on. Er, whatever; just keep recycling.
Somebody was thinking outside the box, so to speak, and told us of a great way to get people involved. Simply place an ad on Craigslist about collecting phones, cartridges, etc. Apparantly it worked. Sounds like they’ve received quite a few cell phones. Check it out:

Oh, I guess they also placed an ad on Yahoo’s Freecycle. Now that’s using your noggin.
